OMAS, star of the IAOM Southeast Asia Conference

1 to 3 October will see the eighth edition of the IAOM Southeast Asia (SEA) at the InterContinental Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This is an international conference attended by milling industry professionals from all over the world.

The event will open on Sunday 1 October with a pre-conference workshop. This will be followed, on the Monday and Tuesday, by numerous training meetings, and presentations of new products and processes, as well as some 40 exhibitors from the industry.

Sunday, as soon as the workshop has ended, Omas’ Sales Director, Pietro Barbalarga, will be holding a presentation entitled “Leonardo: The Milling Revolution” to showcase the technologies of Leonardo, the only roller mill in the world able to cut milling plant energy consumption by up to 70%.

Following this, after a lunch sponsored by OMAS, a tour has been organised of the milling plant in Ho Chi Minh, built by the company in 2016, with the aim of showcasing Leonardo's technology in operation.

The guided visit has been organised to allow the participants to get hands-on experience of the 70% energy savings and to see that the real advantages offered by the Leonardo roller mill for themselves!
