THE PROJECT

The plant, built on a turn-key basis, has been designed to offer high performance with reduced energy consumption. Thanks to the application of the patented KERS (Kinematic Energy Regeneration System) technology, the energy recovery system in the Leonardo rollers enables a 30% reduction in electricity consumption, reducing operational costs compared to traditional belt-driven mills.
The structure of the plant was developed using the ‘Economy in Building Layout’ method, reducing the building’s size by 30% compared to industry standards. This allowed for a reduction in construction time and costs while ensuring maximum operational efficiency and innovative hygienic standards.
The plant can produce flours with various characteristics thanks to the dynamic adjustment of the speed of the Leonardo roller mills. Key results include:
Flour extraction rate: 78-80%
Bread flour with 30-35% starch damage (U.F.)
Pasta flour with low starch damage, ranging from 9-15%, ensuring an ideal color and taste for the product.
The entire plant is automated and controlled by management software on a Microsoft platform, tracking real-time consumption and production parameters, in compliance with Industry 4.0 standards.
Special attention was given to the training of local technicians, with specialized courses in milling technology, mechanics, and automation to ensure optimal functioning and high operational autonomy.
The plant sets a new standard for the milling industry, combining energy efficiency, technological innovation, and reduced operational costs. With this project, Omas strengthens its presence in Central Asia, contributing to the development of the agro-food sector in the region.
