A new contract to supply a completely automatic plant was awarded to Molino Caupolican SPA in Chile, with headquarters in REGNO, SIXTH REGION, a few kilometers away from the capital.
This has been a very important step for Omas that now is on the South American market with an additional reference that will constitute the first step for the construction of multiple plants. The priority of Molino Caupolicán was to be able to use the latest technologies, meet the best food safety standards on the market and a compact layout able to meet their production needs. This pushed them, even after a visit to the Bradshaw & Son mill (UK), to further implement the original layout of OMAS with an expansion of the planned sections.
Mr. Bustamante, General Manager of the Mill, said: "We are aware we have chosen the most advanced technology available on the market at the moment, meeting our requirements to commit to the best standards of food safety and environmental friendliness. Thanks to its flexibility, it will allow us to optimize our work processes and to reach important energy savings in addition to increased operating flexibility in the transformation of the mill processes."
We also thank Juan Zolezzi, our agent, for aiding us in the negotiations, following the client every step of the way to the final contract.
