OMAS is in Brazil for the 24th international congress on wheat, organised by ABITRIGO

On 22 to 24 October 2017 the Hotel Royal Palm Plaza Resort di Campinas (SP), in Brazil, will be hosting the 24th International Congress on Wheat, the most important industry event, organised in the country every year by ABITRIGO.

ABITRIGO is a Brazilian association representing the companies in the wheat industry. Its members deal in the processing of 75% of the cereals in the country, and produce a vast variety of flour types for industrial and artisan production of bread, pasta, and baked goods.

This is an international event that aims to contribute to the reinforcement and growth of the whole cereal production chain, both in Brazil and many other countries.

The congress brings together the main representatives in the industry: directors and entrepreneurs therefore have an occasion to , deal with and discuss the most important problems in the field, such as market analysis, consumer trends, and standards.

As well as top-level conferences and workshops, ABITRIGO is also an expo, with suppliers from all over the world, presenting the latest innovations for the industry.

In the past there have been record numbers of visitors, with 464 Brazilian participants and 124 from foreign markets, mainly Argentina, Chile, China, United States, Italy, Paraguay, Turkey, and Uruguay.

From 22 to 24 October, Omas, in collaboration with Grupo Idugel, will be in Brazil, where we will be presenting our latest milling industry technologies. On the occasion of the event, Simone Malachin, Regional Sales Manager for Central and South America, will be presenting Leonardo, the revolutionary roller mill that uses KERS technology to guarantee up to 70% savings for the milling room.
