THE MILL

The state-of-the-art mill is designed to deliver dedicated pneumatic flour supply to the Campbell’s Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Cracker and Milano Cookie facility through a 20-year supply agreement. The facility can produce up to 7,500 CWTS daily, processing hard wheat, soft wheat, whole wheat, and organic flours, and offers flexible packaging options—from 2-pound bags to bulk shipments to ensure reliable nationwide supply.
A central role in the project was played by Omas Industries, providing its top-of-the-line milling equipment, including the Michelangelo semolina purifier, Galileo plansifter, and Dante huller, ensuring efficiency, flexibility, and top-quality flour.

THE PARTNERSHIP

The project is further strengthened by a strategic partnership with Nippn Corporation of Japan, which holds a minority equity stake in Greenfield Milling, highlighting the company’s commitment to building a nationwide presence through strong alliances and continuous growth.

Founded in 2022 by industry veterans John Mason and Bryan Ledgerwood, Greenfield Milling aims to become a leader in mix-integrated flour production, leveraging advanced technology, quality, and strategic partnerships to meet the evolving needs of retail, bakery, and snack markets.

In addition to the new facility, Greenfield Milling announced the strategic lease of former Panhandle Milling assets in Hereford, Texas, a leader in organic retail flour and bakery mixes. This allows the company to expand its bakery product offerings, from conventional and organic flours to gluten-free solutions, including tortilla, pizza dough, and pancake mixes.
Looking ahead, Greenfield Milling plans to further expand the Utah facility by 2026 with advanced blending and warehousing automation systems, meeting the growing demand for high-quality bakery ingredients and mixes.

“Together with our partners, we are shaping the future of food ingredients, driving growth, innovation, and industry-leading quality,” stated founders Mason and Ledgerwood.
Omas Industries confirms its strategic role in the North American milling sector, providing advanced technologies that enable efficient, flexible, and high-quality production.
