Energy saving
Omas torque motors perform rotational movement without mechanical transmission. This principle eliminates the need for additional components such as gears, pulleys, and belts. Movements occur dynamically, with low friction and high flexibility. Unlike conventional servo motors, torque motors consist of only two elements: the stator ring and the rotor ring, which are directly integrated into the machine’s structure, simplifying installation.

The exclusive, patented Omas Kers System (OKS) is designed to recover kinetic energy generated during the milling process, improving overall efficiency. When the faster roller slows down, the energy that would normally be dissipated as heat can be recovered and converted into electricity, which can be reused to power torque motors or other machine functions. This recovery optimizes energy consumption, reducing overall energy demand. Additionally, the system helps maintain roller speed stability, enhancing process quality and minimizing waste.
