Welding, spot welding, brushing, polishing: these are the pillars on which we build solid and high-performance structures. Since 2002, we at Omix have been constantly exploring innovative solutions to push steel beyond its limits.

What we do
  • TIG Welding
    omix-cosafacciamo-TIG
Used to achieve strong and durable joints, TIG welding is performed using an arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode under the protection of an inert gas. Initially developed for the aerospace industry, it is now widely used in many common fields, especially because it is particularly suited for welding thin materials, up to a maximum of 5-6 mm.
  • MIG welding
    omix-cosafacciamo-MIG
MIG welding is a continuous wire technique: in this case, the electrode is a metal wire, which also serves as filler metal. MIG welding is also called semi-automatic or consumable electrode welding because the metal wire is automatically unspooled by the welding machine. This technique is preferred for welding thick materials and is capable of working with a wide variety of metals, from stainless steel to alloys.
  • Robotic welding
    omix-cosafacciamo-robotizzata
Automated welding is carried out using programmable industrial robots specifically designed with the Fronius CMT generator. This technique ensures extreme precision, unattainable by manual welding and difficult to replicate on a large scale.
  • Spot welding
    omix-cosafacciamo-puntatura
Mechanical force and thermal force work in synergy: this is the case with spot welding, where pressure and heat precisely join metals. The technique is used when it is not necessary to create a hermetic bond between the elements: the welding is, in fact, performed by generating a series of discontinuous points along the perimeter of the two materials to be joined.
  • Brushing
    omix-cosafacciamo-spazzolatura
To achieve a high-quality finished product, the metal processing process cannot overlook the brushing phase, which, through special brushes or abrasive grains, removes any imperfections from the material.
Not only welding
Steel processing holds no secrets for us.
Design
Every request is an opportunity to grow, experiment, and innovate. All the projects we handle are a unique challenge for us, which we tackle with creative and tailor-made solutions. Our goal is the complete satisfaction of those who turn to us.
Assembly
Our process doesn’t stop at the initial processing: we oversee every phase, from production to the assembly of the finished product. Each project is designed to solve the specific challenges of our clients, with a precise and comprehensive approach.
